Broad Canon, Nikon and Sony camera support
ClickStation is designed to support a broad range of Canon, Nikon and Sony cameras for professional photo booth workflows. This includes DSLR and mirrorless setups, while webcam workflows are also supported. A specific camera model should not be treated as guaranteed compatible until it has been checked against the current ClickStation release.
DSLR and mirrorless workflows
A camera-based booth normally depends on more than the camera body alone. The operating system, camera firmware, required drivers, USB connection method, power arrangement and capture settings can all affect a live tethered workflow.
- Canon DSLR and mirrorless workflows
- Nikon DSLR and mirrorless workflows
- Sony DSLR and mirrorless workflows
- Webcam capture workflows
- Windows booth setups
Why ClickStation does not publish an unverified model list
Specific individual camera models have not all been physically tested by ClickStation. For that reason, this page intentionally uses broad-support language rather than presenting a model as tested, verified or guaranteed compatible without evidence.
What can affect compatibility?
Compatibility can vary by camera model, firmware, drivers and the connection method used by the booth computer or device. Before an important event, confirm the exact camera model and run the intended capture workflow on the same hardware you plan to use.
- Camera model
- Camera firmware
- Operating-system drivers
- USB or other connection method
- Power and sleep settings
- Current ClickStation software version
How to check your camera before an event
Send ClickStation the exact camera brand and model, the operating system you plan to use and any relevant connection details. Support can help you check the setup against the current release. A model-by-model compatibility matrix can be added here later as ClickStation completes and documents physical testing.
