Core booth operation can continue offline
ClickStation is designed so the core event workflow does not depend on venue internet. Capture and print workflows can continue offline, which is useful at venues with weak, unstable or unavailable connectivity.
Offline does not mean every feature is internet-free
Features that depend on an online service still need connectivity. QR delivery that points to online media, WhatsApp sharing, email sharing, cloud upload and online galleries require an internet path at the time they are used or synchronized.
Why offline operation matters at events
A professional booth should be planned around the possibility of poor venue Wi-Fi. Keeping capture and printing separate from internet-dependent delivery reduces the chance that the guest experience stops because the network is congested.
Plan an offline-first event workflow
Before the event, prepare the booth computer or device, camera, printer, templates and required local assets. Test the complete capture-to-print flow without internet, then separately test the online sharing path when connectivity returns.
- Prepare layouts before the event
- Test camera capture locally
- Test printer output locally
- Confirm online sharing separately
- Have a backup connectivity plan when digital delivery is required
Use the same booth hardware you will take on-site
Offline reliability depends on the real event setup. Test using the same camera, printer, cables, drivers and device that will be used at the venue rather than assuming a different test system represents the final booth.
